Automation

Subsidies and financing for automation

Automation differs from buying a single machine in one important way: it is a project. The manipulator, conveyor, guarding, end effector, mould modifications and changes to the machine control all form one whole, and the cost is made up of several items — some of which typically qualify for subsidy support and some of which do not.

That is worth knowing before the project is split into purchase orders. Depending on the scope of the automation, we help break the investment down so that it reads clearly for both an application and a financing institution, and we prepare the supplier-side documents that go with it.

WHAT WE HELP WITH

  • Thinking the project through: what to automate first and what can wait for a second stage
  • Breaking the investment down into the individual parts of the delivery
  • Technical specification and quotation in the form the application requires
  • Documentation on the cell's parameters — cycle time, manning, interfaces with existing equipment
  • Working with your funding consultant or financing institution while the application is prepared
  • Splitting the delivery into stages where the investment has to be spread over time

What we don't do: we are neither a funding consultancy nor a financing provider, and we do not decide whether support is granted. Programme conditions, the level of support and its availability change over time, so the options open to you are always assessed for the specific project at the specific time.

Get in touch even if the project only exists in your head so far. With automation the scope is usually still taking shape, and it is easier to assemble it in a way that keeps the door to support open.
